Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites online applications for Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2026 for filling up various group B and C posts in different Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations for 12,256 vacancies. All eligible candidates can apply online through official SSC website ssc.gov.in from 21st May 2026 till the last date of application submission 22nd June 2026 for CGL Exam 2026.

SSC CGL Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Audit Officer (Central Cadre) :
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
Assistant Audit Officer (State Cadre) :
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
- Proficiency in the Regional/ official language of the State, i.e. ability to read, write, speak and understand the language with proficiency at matriculation level. Candidates must possess a certificate of proficiency in the Regional/ official language of the State concerned at the level of Secondary School.
Assistant Accounts Officer (State Cadre) :
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
- Proficiency in the Regional/ official language of the State, i.e. ability to read, write, speak and understand the language with proficiency at matriculation level. Candidates must possess a certificate of proficiency in the Regional/ official language of the State concerned at the level of Secondary School.
Junior Statistical Officer :
Bachelor’s Degree in any subject or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level; Or Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
Statistical Investigator Grade-II :
Bachelor degree in Statistics or Mathematics or Economics or Demography or Population Studies or Operation Research or IT or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Computer Technology or Computer Application or Data Science or Artificial Intelligence.
All other Posts :
Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent
Note:- The candidates who have appeared in their final year of their graduation can also apply, however they must possess Essential qualification as on 01-08-2026.
