CBSE on behalf of KVS and NVS invites online applications for recruitment of various teaching and non teaching posts as Principal, Vice Principal, PGT, TGT, Primary Teachers, JSA, ASO, Lab Attendant, MTS and Other Various Posts for 14967 vacancies in KVS and NVS schools. All eligible and interested candidates can apply online at CBSE, KVS and NVS official website at cbse.gov.in or kvsangathan.nic.in or navodaya.gov.in from 14th November 2025 to till the application last date 11th December 2025 for Teaching & Non Teaching Post Recruitment in KVS and NVS.

CBSE KVS NVS Recruitment Eligibility Criteria 2025
Assistant Commissioner (NVS)
- Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed. from NCTE Recognized Institute/ University.
- Working as Principal in the Pay Level 12 (Rs.78800 to Rs.209200) for at least 03 years in Central/ State/ Autonomous Organizations of Central Govt./ State Govt.
Assistant Commissioner (KVS)
- Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed. from NCTE Recognized Institute/ University with at least 50% marks OR
- Three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE Recognized Institute/ University with at least 50% marks.
- Working as Principal in the Pay Level 12 (Rs.78800 to Rs.209200) for at least 03 years in Central/ State/ Autonomous Organizations of Central Govt./ State Govt.
- Knowledge of computer applications.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
Principal
- Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks.
- B.Ed with at least 50% marks. OR Three year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. with at least 50% marks. OR Four years Integrated Degree with at least 50% marks including B.Ed.
- Working as Principal in Pay Level-12 in Central/ State Govt./ Autonomous organizations of Central/ State Govt. OR others refer to notification Page No. 9.
Vice Principal (KVS)
- Master Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- B.Ed. with atleast 50% marks. OR Three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. with atleast 50% marks. OR Four years Integrated degree with at least 50% marks B.Ed. component (50% marks).
- Working as Vice Principal in Central/ State Govt./ Autonomous organizations of Central/ State Govt. in the Pay Level 10. OR Working as PGT or Lecturer in Central/ State Govt./ Autonomous organizations of Central/ State Govt. in the Pay Level 8 for at least 06 years.
- Knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
Post Graduate Teachers (PGT)
- Integrated Post Graduate Course in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate including B.Ed. component. OR Master Degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject AND
- B.Ed. Degree with atleast 50% marks OR Three years Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. with atleast 50% marks OR Four years Integrated Degree with at least 50% marks including B.Ed. component.
- Proficiency to Teach in Hindi and English medium.

Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)
- Degree with B.Ed. OR PG with three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
- Qualified in the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (Paper-II).
- Competency to teach through English and Hindi Medium.

Primary Teacher
- 10+2 with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR 10+2 with at least 50% marks and 4 year Diploma in Elementary Education. OR Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-I).
- Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English medium.

Administrative Officer
- Graduate from recognized university/ Institute.
- 3 years’ regular service as Section Officer atleast in pay level 7 in the Central Govt./ Autonomous Bodies of Central Govt.
- Knowledge of Computer application.
Finance Officer
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with 50% marks in the aggregate at least 04 years post-qualification experience. OR Master’s Degree in Commerce with 50% marks and at least 04 years post-qualification experience. OR Bachelor’s Degree with CA (Inter) or ICWA (Inter) or MBA (Finance) or PGDM (Finance) (02 years full time) with 04 years’ post-qualification experience.
- Knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
Assistant Engineer
Graduate in Civil/ Electrical Engineering with 2 year experience in design and engineering in concerned branch from Govt. Deptt./ Organization /Institute.
Assistant Section Officer (ASO)
- Bachelor degree from recognized university/ Institute.
- Working as UDC/SSA or equivalent on regular basis for minimum 3 years in Level 4 in Central Govt./Autonomous Bodies of Central Govt.
- Knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
Junior Translator
Master’s degree And Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice-versa OR Two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government office, including Government of India Undertaking.
Senior Secretariat Assistant
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Working as JSA/LDC or equivalent on regular basis for minimum 3 years in Level 2 in Central Govt./Autonomous bodies of Central Govt.
- Knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
Stenographer Grade-I
- Graduate from recognized university/ Institute.
- Shorthand Speed of 100 w.p.m. in English/ Hindi Shorthand and Typing Speed of 45 w.p.m. in English/ Hindi Typing.
- Working as Stenographer Gr II on regular basis for 05 years in the Central/ State Govt./ Autonomous bodies of Central /State Govt. in Pay Level 4
- Knowledge of Computer Applications.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
Stenographer Grade-II
- Graduate from recognized university/ Institute.
- Skill test Norms Dictation: 10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m || Transcription: 50 minutes (English) / 65 minutes (Hindi) (On computer).
- Knowledge of working on Computer
- Proficiency in Hindi and English.
Junior Secretariat Assistant (KVS)
Class XII pass or equivalent with a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.
Junior Secretariat Assistant (NVS)
Class XII & possessing minimum typing speed of 30 w.p.m. in English or 25 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer OR Passed + 2 Level of Senior Secondary with Secretarial Practices and Office management as Vocational subject.
Lab Attendant
10th Class pass with a certificate / Diploma in Laboratory Technique OR 12th Class with Science stream.
Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)
Class X from a recognized board.
